Wharton And Rice Mentoring (WARM)
Wharton And Rice Mentoring (WARM) provides Rice University students with an opportunity to interact with their community's youth and make a difference in their lives. Volunteers meet on Fridays at 3:00pm at the Rice Memorial Center (RMC) Circle Drive and drive to Wharton Elementary School, arriving back on campus by 6:00pm. They play games, make arts and crafts, sing and dance, play sports, and generally have a good time with the 4th and 5th grade students (mentees), while serving as positive role models for them. Contact Maria Condacse (mic2@rice.edu) or Rodolfo Velasquez Lim (rv3@rice.edu) for more information.
